NAZ Middle School XC Championships
Join us at Ft. Tuthill on Saturday, October 24 for the 2026 NAZ Middle School XC Championships. Find race-day details, course information, parking, awards, and registration information below.
Race-day schedule
Please arrive with enough time to pick up your team packet and get athletes settled before the meeting. The first race begins at 10:00 AM.

The meet will take place at Fort Tuthill County Park in Flagstaff.
Team & Bus Parking
Please have team buses park in the designated area on the west side of the parking lot shown below.
General Parking
There is plenty of free parking at Fort Tuthill, all within walking distance of the start/finish area.
Please arrive early if you would like to walk the course. Teams should stay off the course once racing has begun.
Before the first race
Packet Pick-Up
Coaches can pick up team packets near the start/finish line upon arrival.
Packets will include race bibs with electronic timing chips. Please do not fold the bibs, as this can affect the timing chip.
Each team will also receive a garbage bag. Please help us keep the venue clean by picking up your team area before leaving.
Restrooms
Portable toilets will be available near the start/finish area.
Permanent park bathrooms are also available on the northwest end of the parking lot.
Please remind athletes to respect and take care of the park facilities.
Results & Timing
The meet will be electronically timed by RunFlagstaff .
Live results will be available during the meet.
Scoring
Unattached and club athletes will not count toward team scores.
These athletes are still eligible for individual awards.
Individual & team awards
Awards will be presented on site following the final championship race.
Individual Awards
The top 25 finishers in each race will receive awards.
4th–6th Grade Teams
Team awards will be presented to the first-place team in each 4th–5th–6th grade championship.
7th–8th Grade Teams
Team awards will be presented to the top three teams in each 7th–8th grade championship.
Awards Ceremony
Join us near the van at 12:30 PM for the championship awards ceremony.
Race-day extras
Snacks and championship merchandise will be available throughout the morning.
